Kamran Hakim, born in July 1941, is an American multibillionaire real estate developer of Iranian Jewish descent. He is renowned as one of New York City's largest private landlords and the founder of the Hakim Organization, established in 1978. His business model focuses on acquiring rent-stabilized buildings in need of infrastructure investments, making necessary capital improvements, and transitioning them to market rate. His portfolio includes over 200 buildings concentrated primarily on New York City's Upper West Side and Upper East Side, collectively valued at more than $7 billion.
